{"id":9289,"date":"2026-01-06T08:54:35","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T16:54:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hometownband.org\/?p=9289"},"modified":"2026-06-30T07:41:50","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T14:41:50","slug":"acb-regional-connections-event-facebook-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hometownband.org\/?p=9289","title":{"rendered":"2026 ACB Washington Regional Connections Event &#8211; Updated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is the link to the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acbands.org\/rcewa\">ACB event<\/a> in Sequim<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Schedule<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The website for the event is at:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/usg01.safelinks.protection.office365.us\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.acbands.org%2Frcewa&amp;data=05%7C02%7Canthony.n.mcgrath2.civ%40us.navy.mil%7C25dc08ec25154af2d76208ded63a22cb%7Ce3333e00c8774b87b6ad45e942de1750%7C0%7C0%7C639183743078696188%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C80000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=PuBTeEAQ6eNEI%2B03Z%2BrrTl9KkWA2ujdpYMyhLGua1Mo%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.acbands.org\/rcewa<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Note that the warm-up space is the Chuck Swisher Rehearsal Hall, behind the band shell\u00a0and will be available to you when the previous band takes the stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stage layout and instrumentation:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please provide us with a desired stage layout, including number of chairs per row, placement of stands, percussion, and number of people per instrument\u00a0\u00a0by July 10.\u00a0 \u00a0We wish to know musicians per instrument to help us handle case storage in the rehearsal\/staging space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finalized Program Repertoire.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please confirm by July 10 the listing below of the pieces you plan to play and the order for the program.\u00a0 \u00a0 Pieces will be listed in this order unless you tell us otherwise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Printed Programs<\/strong>\u00a0with a QR code.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ACB will be providing a double-sided one-page program for the entire day available to the audience, with a QR code for more information.\u00a0 That site will have a complete program, ensemble information, etc.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish us to include a link to detailed program notes on your website, please let us knowby July 15.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to bring additional printed programs for your performance to provide to audience members, you are welcome to do so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Announcing.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There will be an announcer who will be introducing your group.\u00a0 Please provide\u00a0(via email to Scott by July 15) a short script of what you wish this person to say about you before you perform.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to make announcements during your performance, you are welcome to do so, but must be mindful of the 45 minute limit for your time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location and Parking.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Saturday concerts are held at: Carrie Blake Park, N Blake Ave, Sequim WA 98382\u00a0 \u00a0Best entrance for the James Center for Performing\u00a0Arts is at the corner of North Blake Ave and East Fir Street.\u00a0 \u00a0We are working on a better map of the location and entrance and will share when ready.\u00a0 Note that there is an event in the other part of the park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Food.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There will be food trucks on site from 4:30-7:30pm.
